Capsule shelters

additional single man lockable shelters, or maybe another standard shelter in the lava?

Maybe, I kind of want to do something with it.
I think some sort of shelter there could be good for two reasons.
1. people don't only clusterfuck the center.
2. i could do it in such a way that avoids the glitch with the current one. (i.e if your team mate touches you as the shelter goes down, you can die.)

Little off topic
I think instead of focusing on the cluster fucks in the center
You might wanna focus on the fact that it is way too easy to spawn camp
I know this is slightly taken care of with the walls addition, but more than anything else, it just stops Snipers from sniping you as soon as you get out of spawn
And even then they can just wait until you get past the barrier
Maybe try to implement a thing that hurts you if you get too close to spawn or make it so you can't shoot out of spawn
These are things to be addressed

I think instead of focusing on the cluster fucks in the center
You might wanna focus on the fact that it is way too easy to spawn camp

Maybe try to implement a thing that hurts you if you get too close to spawn or make it so you can't shoot out of spawn

1. actually co-operate with your team to get out, nobody can kill
an uber'd player. OR
2. go spy, activate the nuke.
3. dont let them spawn camp you in the first place.

People are stupid
This most of those wouldn't work in most situations though

The problem with things like additional barriers, an area of hurt etc is that it reduces the ordinary map size, restricts player freedom, and whats more is that in most of these situations, people can just camp again, but from further back due to said barrier. Fact is a wall of sentries or dedicated players is going to be hard to get across no matter where it is on the map. Did I mention spawn protection? If you are desperate to get out when being camped, just rush, you can get out of the spawn for a few seconds with protection still on, meaning you can deal damage to them but they cannot damage you back. I figure co-operation is to be expected though, if a team can co-operate to drive a team back to their base and hold them there, why cant a team have the audacity to fight their way back out? If they cannot get out, they have only themselves to blame.
